Two main factors aided in the City of Rossland's decision to purchase Vadim's iCity software - what were they?
November 14, 2011 Canada, BC, Kelowna – With a need for more functionality and better reporting in their financial system, the City of Rossland chose Vadim’s iCity financial and municipal software products.
Two main factors aided in their purchase decision; neighbouring communities who use Vadim and some Finance staff members at the City have previous experience on the Vadim system. Deb Timm, CFO/Manager of Finance, remarked, “The whole area uses Vadim.”
Deb says, “We expect there to be increased efficiency with the use of Vadim which will save staff time and that’s a huge benefit.”
Three city staff attended Vadim’s 2 day BC User Conference in September in Kelowna and commented, “We felt welcome and did get a lot of value out of attending the conference,” and “Vadim staff were friendly and very helpful”.
The City of Rossland purchased iCity General Ledger & Budgeting, Accounts Payable & Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Property Taxation, Cash Receipting, Business Licenses, Municipal Ticketing, Building Permits, Pet Licenses, Payroll, Utility Billing, iCitizen Property Taxes & Utility Billing and VadimVIEW.
VadimVIEW, a report designer/writer, gives users the big picture and also lets them drill down to the smallest detail by enabling the creation of custom report layouts.
