July 29, 2010 Canada, BC, Kelowna – Vadim is excited to offer Development Services to our clients, which provides solutions to your enhancement and customization requests. This service will tailor the software to your specific needs and unique environment. Amy Baldonado, Programmer Analyst, is dedicated to providing this service.
Amy Baldonado (formerly Lamboloto) is devoted to client customization requests and works closely with clients to customize the system to their specific needs. Amy has 15 years of experience in the field of software development; 9 years of which she’s worked at Vadim. She has also been involved in the development of a wide range of iCity applications, particularly Municipal Ticketing, Building Permits, Property Taxes and Cash Receipting. Amy has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Adamson University.
What sort of projects are you currently working on?
The following describes three projects we are currently working on - from the West in BC to the East in New Brunswick:
Customized Utility Bill
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick (EGNB) wanted to replace their current utilitarian utility bills with a format that is more customer friendly, easier to read and allows for customized marketing messages. This project is currently in development.
Combined Utility and Property Tax certificates in BC OnLine
Currently, iCity is capable of producing tax certificates and utility certificates separately; these certificates have to be requested and printed out at City Hall then mailed to the client. The District of West Kelowna, BC, is working with Vadim to merge these two certificates into one and making them available on request through BC OnLine. Customers will then have the ability to print the certificates via their own computer. This project is currently in development.
Fixed Asset Listing
The Columbia Shuswap Regional District, BC, has requested a custom report to be added to iCity Enterprise in the Fixed Assets module to produce a listing of non-retired fixed assets and relevant cost data (i.e. historical, depreciation and net book value). This report provides an audit trail and facilitates the financial auditing process. This project is currently in development.

What are the next steps?
After you’ve contacted Melanie, a Business Analyst will work with you to clearly define your request. Once this has been determined, you will be provided with a list of tasks and given a quote. Upon approval, Amy will customize the system to your specific request then passes it to Quality Assurance for thorough testing. When testing is complete, the application is delivered to you for testing before final installation.
