Outstanding reviews of the software from nearby municipalities aids in decision to purchase Vadim's iCity.
September 3, 2009 Canada, BC, Kelowna – After many years of using their legacy system, the Municipality of Val Rita-Harty, ON, decided to make the conversion from their Top Down Logic (TDL) system to Vadim’s iCity.
After speaking with 2 nearby municipalities who use Vadim and gave shining reviews about the software, Val Rita-Harty felt confident in their decision to purchase the system.
The Fixed Assets module presents the municipality with the tools they need to meet their PSAB requirements. This application provides users with the ability to set up depreciation schedules for their assets, calculate depreciation expenses, and post this information into the iCity General Ledger through a Journal Voucher.
Their municipal office is small, with one full-time employee and one part-time employee, so time efficiencies are important. Christiane Potvin, Clerk/Treasurer/Administrator, who has been with the municipality since 1983, feels the change will be for the better.
The Municipality of Val Rita-Harty purchased iCity General Ledger/Budgeting/ Financial Report Writer, Accounts Payable/Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Property Taxation and Cash Receipting.
