Demo Seals the Deal for Centre Hastings

September 2, 2009  Canada, BC, Kelowna – After deferring the process of changing software providers for as long as possible, the Municipality of Centre Hastings, ON, decided it was time to replace their outdated software system. Christine Jones, Tax Advisor/Billing Clerk, says that after seeing a demo of Vadim’s software with Anthony Fleming, Regional Account Manager, it “sealed the deal” for them.

The Municipality felt their system was outdated and could not accommodate current standards. Functionality was a big concern due to the fact that the reports had stopped working, Windows updates weren’t being applied correctly and the software would work some days and not others. In comparison, there were several aspects of Vadim’s software that stood out to Centre Hastings, including the financial reports (and that a voucher report for council was already available within the system), the look and feel which was similar to their previous system and the ability to look up old assessments and be provided with all the information they need at a glance.

Christine said they knew Anthony, he was familiar with their goals, and they felt comfortable dealing with him. Anthony demoed the software in person and Christine felt she was able to ask the questions she wanted, while Anthony took the time to explain with thorough answers. “Anthony is super to deal with,” says Christine.

Staff members at the Municipality are looking forward to using their new  software, especially the financial reporting component, and expect the conversion to go quite well.
