Implementation Services

With WinFin, we provide you with the tools to help you set up and customize your accounting system. The WinFin program lets you process your day to day transactions while the reports allow you to print informative reports based on available data. You can process transactions for any date, past or future, in any open period, and develop budgets for several years into the future. You are in control of this system.

Conversion

We will convert your existing master file data from your previous vendor into the WinFin product, if technically possible. To determine feasibility, we require an actual "File Format" of the files from your current aupplier. Based upon the evaluation of the file format, structure and volumes we will supply you with a quote for data conversion.

Implementation Assistance

Upon request, we will assist our clients with the transition from their old system to the new system. A software specialist from MIG can be on site to assist with this transition. We provide guidelines to the client for the preparation of supporting reports and data to support the transition. In addition, we assist each user with the preparation of subsystem entries to ensure an accurate balancing position. We also assist with control file set up and any data entry that may be required. Our specialist will remain on site for the first day or two to respond to any issues that may arise while you begin. 

Annual Support Agreements

An Annual Support Agreement is mandatory. This agreement entitles our clients to telephone support, upgrades and new releases of their existing applications. Our support agreements are paid on an annual basis from January 1 to December 31. The first year is prorated from the date on which a module is implemented. 

Documentation

Along with your training, you will receive documentation on the WinFin product. This will serve as a good reference after the training. One set of documentation is provided for your site. Additional copies are available for a fee. 

Windows Financial Software Installation

If the client chooses not to use our implementation assistance, they are responsible for installation of the software at their site. Either a CD would be sent directly to the client or the software would be made available for download from our internet site. Installation instructions accompany the CD and WinFin support personnel are available for assistance.
