iCity Outshines the Competition in LaSalle
May 3, 2013 Canada, BC, Kelowna – After the Town of LaSalle’s finance department experienced five demonstrations of different software solutions, it was clear that the preferred solution was Vadim Software’s iCity product.
There were four main factors that influenced the decision: the software itself, neighbouring municipalities, references and the product demonstration.
LaSalle’s finance department finds the software to be user friendly and likes iCity’s layout and screens. “I can see a definite time savings in things like reporting and shortcuts,” says Dale Langlois, Manager of Finance. He adds, “We like that everything we need is included with Vadim and doesn’t cost us extra.”
The finance staff feels comfortable knowing three neighbouring municipalities also use Vadim’s iCity product and look forward to joining this network to share ideas and knowledge.
In speaking with references that use the software, Dale concluded, “I noticed a common theme. The users seem quite happy with Vadim’s Support and support cases are typically handled quickly. That’s important.”
Vadim’s Support department is open twelve hours per business day and provides 24-hour emergency support.
Dale and his team appreciated that the demonstration was provided on-site and in-person. Dale comments, “Anthony [Fleming] was well prepared and gave a really good presentation. We were impressed that he was able to answer 99% of the questions we threw at him.”
Excitement has filled the air at the Town office as staff look forward to what iCity has to offer.
Vadim has a combined total of 272 clients using either the iCity or WinFin products. Of the 210 iCity clients, 85 are in the province of Ontario.
The Town of LaSalle purchased a broad set of iCity modules covering finance, properties, payroll and other municipal and online services.
