From Townships to Sisterships
June 1, 2009 – In Ontario, the Townships of Chisholm, WhiteWater Region, and Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan recently have, or will be in the near future, converting from their Top Down Logic (TDL) system to Vadim’s iCity.
The administrative staff at the Township of Chisholm researched software vendors, made their recommendation to council, and council decided on Vadim. Lorena Thompson, Deputy Clerk Treasurer, said the software “looks easy to use,” and that “Vadim is on top of new government legislation.” They felt there is much potential for expansion with this software. The Township currently does their payroll manually so they are looking forward to saving time with Vadim’s Payroll module.

Talking Modules an Important Aspect of New System
May 12, 2009 - As your municipality grows, so do your needs. Sometimes that means new software which can accommodate your growth is necessary, as was the case with the Town of Huntsville, ON.
After using their previous system for 20 years, they felt they had outgrown it and it was time for a change. They were looking for more features in their software and wanted to expand their options. The biggest challenge with their current system was the inability to enter information in one application and have it automatically upload into other fields and modules. Huntsville was glad to learn that iCity has this capability built-in.
